A genuine team issue short-sleeved jersey made for the Belgian John Saey team by its Belgian kit supplier, Nico Sport. John Saey is a building renovations company based just outside Ghent in Belgium whose namesake owner is a long-time supporter of cycling. His company has sponsored races and this team, categorised in Belgium as an elite without contract team, when the British rider Dean Downing raced for it in the early 2000s.
This jersey in modern textile was one that Dean Downing raced in and would make a very unusual jersey to wear or as part of a collection.
Condition: Light wear, one or two thread pulls.
