La Redoute-Motobecane team jersey
A long-sleeved team issue jersey made for the French La Redoute-Motobecane team by Decca. La Redoute-Motobecane was created in 1979 and existed until the end of 1985, by which time the bike manufacturer Motobecane had pulled out of sponsorship. During those years notable La Redoute riders included Jean-Luc Vandenbrouck and Roger Rosiers from Belgium, Robert Alban and Alain Bondue from France, the Irish rider Stephen Roche and Britain’s Paul Sherwen. La Redoute is a clothing brand born in northern France, and the team always had a northern profile with French riders from that area and Belgians predominating.
