This team issue T is signed by track cyclist Jason Queally, one of the riders who really kicked off the British cycling success story of the last 20 years. The T-shirt is from the 2000 Olympic Games held in Sydney Australia, where Queally won the gold medal in the 1000-metre time trial. The men’s race opened the whole cycling programme. The following day Queally was part of the British squad that took the silver medal in the men’s team sprint. Yvonne McGregor then took bronze in the women’s individual pursuit, with the British repeating her feat in the men’s team pursuit.
