This knitted acrylic rainbow jersey was one of a batch produced by Raleigh to celebrate the victory of TI-Raleigh rider, Jan Raas in the 1979 professional road race world championships. It is an exact copy of the 1980 jersey Raas raced in until the world championships that year, when his reign as world champion ended.
